Why the price changes after the first year

How the introductory price works, and where to see what you will pay afterwards.

Last updated 2026-10-03

New plans have an introductory monthly price for the first 12 months. After that the plan moves to its regular monthly price. Both prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay, in the form "for your first year, then so much a month".

What you will see

  • On your invoices, the amount for each period.
  • Under My Hosting, the price you pay for each website and its renewal date.

The price on your own account is the one that applies to you, which can differ from today's prices for new customers.

Worked example

If a plan is shown as £3.99 a month for the first year, then £7.99 a month, then:

  • the first 12 months cost 12 × £3.99 = £47.88
  • from month 13 it costs £7.99 a month

The billing assistant in the chat works out the exact figures for your own websites if you ask.
