Turn on two-step login
Add a second check to your login so a stolen password is not enough.
Two-step login asks for a six-digit code from an app on your phone each time you log in, in addition to your password.
Turn it on
- Install an authenticator app on your phone (for example Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Authy).
- In Hosteaze go to Account Settings and find Two-step login.
- Scan the QR code with the app.
- Type the six-digit code the app shows to confirm.
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe. They let you in if you lose your phone.
Lost your phone?
Use one of your recovery codes instead of the six-digit code. If you have no recovery codes either, contact us. We will ask you to confirm who you are before turning two-step login off for you.
Tip. Two-step login is strongly recommended. Anyone who guesses or steals your password still cannot get in without your phone.
