Welcome to Hosteaze: how your account is laid out
The difference between your account dashboard and your website's control panel.
Your Hosteaze account has two main areas. Knowing which is which saves a lot of hunting.
Your account dashboard
This is where you manage you: your details, your invoices and your support tickets. You get there by logging in at the Hosteaze website and choosing Dashboard.
- My Hosting lists each website you have with us.
- Domains lists domain names registered or managed with us.
- Billing shows your invoices and lets you pay them.
- Support Tickets is where you ask us for help.
- Account Settings is where you change your password and turn on two-step login.
Your control panel
This is where you manage one website. From My Hosting, choose Manage next to the website. Each website has its own control panel with:
| Section | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Overview | A summary: storage used, email addresses, certificate status and recent activity |
| Files | Upload, rename and delete your website's files |
| Databases | The databases your website uses |
| Create email addresses, forwarding and holiday replies | |
| Domains | Settings for the domain, and how to point it at us |
| Caching | Make a website load faster |
| Security | Your certificate and malware scan results |
| Backups | Ask us to restore your website |
| Tools | PHP version, scheduled tasks (cron) and SFTP access |
| Settings | Details about your hosting plan |
Tip. If you manage several websites, each has a separate control panel. The website name is shown at the top so you always know which one you are in.
