Backups and restores
How to ask us to roll your website back to an earlier state.
If you delete something by mistake, an update breaks your site or you think it was hacked, we can restore your files and databases.
Ask for a restore
- Open Backups in the control panel.
- Choose to request a restore, and tell us roughly when the site was last working. The more precise you are, the better.
- We pick the nearest backup, restore it and tell you when it is done.
Our team does the restore for you. There is no restore button yet.
Warning. A restore replaces your current files and database with the older copy. Anything changed since then, such as new orders or posts, will be lost. Tell us if there is anything you need to keep.
For important websites, also keep your own copies: download your files with SFTP and export your database now and then.
