Forward email and set a holiday reply

Send copies of mail to another address, or reply automatically while you are away.

Open Email in your control panel.

Forward email to another address

  1. Choose Forwarding & replies next to the mailbox, or create a forwarding-only address if you do not want a mailbox at all.
  2. Enter the address to forward to. You can add more than one.
  3. Choose whether to keep a copy in the mailbox as well.
  4. Save.

Warning. Forwarding to Gmail or Outlook.com can send some messages to spam, especially if they came from a sender with strict security. Check their spam folder if mail seems to be missing.

Holiday (out-of-office) reply

  1. Choose Forwarding & replies next to the mailbox.
  2. Turn on the automatic reply, then enter a subject and message and, if you wish, the dates.
  3. Save.

Each sender gets the reply once, so people do not get repeated messages.

Catch-all address

A catch-all collects mail sent to any address on your domain that does not exist, for example a mistyped sale@ when you have sales@. You can set one in Email. Be aware catch-alls receive a lot of junk.

Forwarding rules cannot loop back on themselves. If you set one up that would, we show you which addresses are involved.
